Mum guilt can be crippling at times. I'm a mum to 2 Alhumdulilah and I still feel it. I will say though it does lessen overtime and you learn to take it all in your stride. Eventually you learn you can't juggle everything and some balls have to be intentionally dropped for your own wellbeing. There's no point trying to be the perfect mum, your child needs a loving and present mum. I'm sure you're doing great and will feel better in time iA

I really enjoyed this piece. It was so relatable as a long time mom (10 plus years) and I can tell you it never goes away completely. BUT I think it's important that us moms give ourselves a little bit of credit and pat ourselves on the back. Because at the end of the day we love our children unconditionally and what could be more important than that?
